PulsePoint Respond is a free mobile app that empowers CPR-trained citizens to help save lives before first responders arrive. By connecting nearby volunteers to suspected cardiac arrest emergencies occurring in public places, PulsePoint helps reduce the time between collapse, CPR, and defibrillation—three critical factors in improving survival.
When an emergency occurs nearby, eligible PulsePoint users receive an alert with the location of the incident and the nearest publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillator (AED), allowing them to begin lifesaving care while emergency responders are en route. The app also provides real-time awareness of active incidents, helping residents stay informed about emergency activity throughout Sussex County.
Whether you’re a healthcare provider, first responder, or a CPR-trained community member, downloading PulsePoint is another way to support public safety and help make Sussex County a safer place to live, work, and visit.
