Operating within the Division of Emergency Communications, Communications Support provides the technical expertise that keeps Sussex County’s public safety communications systems operating reliably. The team programs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots radio systems and pagers used throughout the County, while also supporting the radio tower network to ensure dependable coverage and performance. Serving as the County’s Motorola radio system experts, Communications Support provides specialized technical knowledge and implements communications solutions that keep dispatchers, responders, and partner agencies connected when it matters most.
